Arne Wastyn Found Footage piece “Inside Out” combines two aesthetics: nature photography and first-aid manual illustrations. The obvious incoherence of these different visual languages and the impossibility of hybridization makes the artwork unique than if the two stood alone. The contrast resulting from this phenomenon increases our awareness of the visual languages and content we encounter in everyday life.
