Ivan Oliinyk
Doom

Ivan Oliinyk’s drawing “Doom” has the look of a graffiti. Black tube-like forms meander in large broad strokes. They gradually take over the white space, which they seem to appear out of nowhere. If one thinks of the image as an animation, the black erases the infinite white space and remains as a deep dark night, as a horror of memory, as a crime against freedom hanging over the wounds of those who remain.
